Here is a system for choosing colored contact lens colors that works with your real eyes, not a plastic display.
Start With Your Skin Tone, Not the Lens
Warm skin tones have golden, yellow, or olive undertones. If gold jewelry looks better on you than silver, you are warm-toned. Your best lens colors: hazel, warm brown, honey, olive green. Our Olive Series hazel lenses were designed for warm skin.

Consider Your Hair Color
Blonde hair and light eyes look harmonious together. If you have blonde hair and want colored contacts, lighter shades like grey, blue, and light green will look cohesive. Dark hair gives you more contrast to work with, making both light and dark lens colors viable.

A Trick for Trying Colors in Your Head
Take a close-up photo of your face in natural light. Use a photo editing app to overlay a circle of the lens color over your iris. It is not perfect, but it gets you closer than staring at a plastic display eye. This is especially helpful for dark-eyed people because the same lens looks dramatically different on dark brown versus light blue irises.
